Slammin al pastor super burrito
Great tamales-5 star! Some of the best weve had. Plus excellent chips and salsas. My only criticism is there appears to be a language barrier in ordering. Normally we order the 2 tamale platter w rice and beans, plus an ala carte single tamale. Half the time we get home and find only 3 tamales and no rice and beans. So.be careful and speak slow & carefully.
P.s. better to be there in person and point to menu items

This place is a little gem. Family own business. Great customer service and food. Although close to another restaurant, this place is worth the try. Food is freshly made and many different salsas to choose from. It's definitely our new favorite spot.
Okay so I just wanted a quick and easy burrito and I got a delicious meal that I've hyped up to everyone I know and love. I ordered a veggie burrito and a chicken tamale and relished every bite. I can smell all of the good ingredients in my food when it hit my table, and the sauces they have there just compliment every bite. Their salsa is so good and their chips were warm when we got them. My friend I went with bought a breakfast burrito and they were so impressed with he taste and the inclusion of fries, sour cream, and guacamole in their burrito.
Their pricing is, to me, good, but honestly I'd be willing to pay more now that I know what I know.
I haven't eaten Mexican food this good in too long and this small place makes the best food I've found in a long time. Dramatic, I know, but I'm so serious that I'm really impressed. I don't even live anywhere near Aptos and I will be coming back.
Found this place on yelp and it did not disappoint. Weve been back twice and will definitely come back again. This is a restaurant with actual seating, but we took our meals to go. There staff is nice, works fast and very friendly. The food is really good; the hubby always gets a big burrito and I always get tacos. Both are accompanied by fresh tortilla chips and a variety of salsas. If you are looking for some authentic Mexican food, look no further.

I am a vegetarian, so it can be difficult for me to find restaurants that cater to my diet. My friends that eat meat also say that it's so e of the best Mexican food they've ever had!

Fantastic carne asada tacos, they have a new hot sauce that is amazing, and has an insane kick, not your run of the mill white people hot sauce, its fresh, real hot sauce, wish I caught the name of it. Great quesoburro as well. This place is great, definitely will be back.

Carne Asada was seasoned really well, a lot of flavor, delicious red rice and good tortilla. Horchata was classic, which is all I ask for lol. I ordered a side of fries which is something no other taqueria in the area does. Their salsas were excellent and they had one that was like spicy orange colored and creamy very good.
The salsas are so good, I wish they sold them in a jar to bring home.
This place doesn't look like much from the entrance.
Go inside, however, and it's got great ambiance, great service, and some of the most delicious tamales I've ever experienced.

Prawn super burrito: good size, delicious fillings, guac was included in the price. I always get half rice so it was kinda juicy but I don't mind it that way. Prawns were a tad overcooked for my taste but they weren't outright dry. Just not as moist as perfectly cooked is gonna be.
Super carne assada quesadilla: my wife had this. She wasn't thrilled with it as it turned out the sourcream, guac and salsa were all on the side so she reported it was kinda dry. I tried a bit of the carne and thought it was tasty.
Shrimp a la Diabla - This is one of my favorite dishes so was excited to see it on the menu. Star of the show. So good. Very spicy (I love spicy), smokey, savory sauce. Guac/salsa/sourcream/tortillas all served on the side as I would expect. Shrimp was (again) cooked a tad over for me but just fine. I'll be getting this again (and again and again).
Horchata - Hilariously, this was the "small" size (see picture). The godzilla sized cup, was what, 32oz? I found it overly sweet but otherwise great. Probably won't get again due to sweetness (that said I think this is typical of horchata). It's still sitting in my fridge. I occasionally will take a sip. It's working out that way.
Overall I'm thrilled to have this new Mexican restaurant in the 'hood. I used to have to drive into Capitola for good Mexican, but no more.

Went to this place today. So glad to have them here, very good and fresh. easily the best burritos in town, my wife really enjoyed her tamale. A bit pricey ($12.99) for a burrito but they are very large and they don't skimp on the meat like others. Talked with the owner and they are building the menu ( new place). Great place and we will be back.
